Norcross, Georgia -- August 30, 2011 -- AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings Americas has introduced a new look and feel to its Facebook presence. The launch was part of a complete refurbishing to all social and electronic media outlets utilized by the company. These include the new Facebook page at www.facebook.com/GoAkzoNobelAAC, YouTube, Twitter and a special blogging outlet at www.PaintItWithWater.com. A central landing page, www.goakzonobelaac.net, was created to provide convenient navigation to all social media outlets and product brand sites. “It’s all about easier access, higher touch with our customers and fresh information,” said Jessica Rob, Communication Manager. Rob is leading this social media initiative for AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings Americas. “Social media is about listening and sharing. This project was a ‘grass roots’ effort where we reached out to key stakeholders to determine relevant topics of engagement. Of course, this is a journey; our goal is to be constantly evolving. These communication options were created to enhance our relationships with employees, distributors and the bodyshops that we work with. We look forward to hearing from each and to have their input to the process.” |
